'...The
virtual gaze is a line of existentiation'.
|
|
|
The virtual gaze refers the technologic medium to the primary medium:
the human entity's body-psyche; the performer as mediator of a reality.
It is the construction of a determinated perception with a presence.
The virtual gaze is the virtual presence of the audience.
The virtual gaze is the virtual presence of the performer.
Always a liminal gaze, in the threshold, where categories vanish and open
acces to the synesthesia of senses.
In the era of the electronic image, it is a tactil and acoustic vision
of the environment (Marshall McLuhan).
TEATRE VIRTUAL in this first act, invokes a way to look at reality, at
the world. It is a will for perception, an interplay of the senses as
a dimension of virtuality. It is a specific trajectory of memory: at a
biologic level, the synaptic connexions of the human brain. A singular
and unique path. For the philosopher Henri Bergson here lays the creative
potential and freedom of the human being.
Actual or virtual, virtual and actual, it exists.
